Pentacons can be found at car-boot sales, flea markets and eBay for bargain prices, so if you see the 29mm f/2.8 snap it up. You'll be using manual focus, and setting the aperture on the lens, but put your Canon in aperture priority mode and it'll meter automatically, changing the shutter speed for a correct exposure. I'm not saying this is the best glass in the world, but it's great to play around with and using a prime lens (no zoom) will improve anyones photography.
